Prior products of focus include Hand Held Analyzing Spectrometers, Sanitary On-line Process Instrumentation, Motion and Process Control Systems, and Intelligent HVACR Controls and Thermostats.

Valcour Community

Valcour Strategic Group is located in a quiet, historical lakeside community on Lake Champlain's Adirondack Coast of Clinton County, New York. Valcour Bay is the National Historic Site of the first US Navy Battle - the Battle of Valcour which dates back to October 11, 1776. Valcour Strategic Group operates out of historic "Schoolhouse #8" also known as the Valcour Stone Schoolhouse which was constructed in 1825 at the site of the British Gunboat Line in the Battle of Valcour. The Valcour Stone Schoolhouse is made of limestone rock that was hand quarried from Valcour Island. The building was originally used to house Methodist church services for two years prior to becoming the area's first single-room stone schoolhouse. The schoolhouse was in use until 1938 and served as many as 35 students at a time.

Valcour Contribution

Each Valcour employee volunteers a minimum of 40 hours per year to assist early stage regional companies primarily in the Food & Beverage Market. Business assistance services offered include Strategic Plan Development, Scale Up Scenario Analysis, Production Process Design and Engineering services, New Product Development, Test Marketing and Customer Feedback programs, Market Commercialization Scenario Planning and Launch.
